TONLE SAP LAKE
The boat ride we took with our tourguide to the floating village and then into the Tonle Sap Lake was especially pleasant because of the lack of commercialization of the route. There were no one hawking wares to you everywhere you go; there were no unexpected pit stops at stores; absolutely nothing of that sort. There weren't very many fellow tourists on the beautiful waters either, although it was as beautiful as any waterway Thailand or Vietnam has to offer. (Since we purposely extended our time in Cambodia, we had time to visit sites aside from the Angkor temples whereas other people did not.)
